LastDaysLiving exists to encourage steady, faithful Christian living under the present reign of Jesus Christ.
This site is written for believers who want to live thoughtfully and faithfully in a fractured world — without fear-driven urgency, speculation, or spiritual pressure.
The goal here is formation, not reaction.
Who This Site Is Written For
LastDaysLiving is written for Christians.
It exists to help followers of Jesus Christ live faithfully under His present reign. The content here addresses believers as citizens of God’s Kingdom, grounding daily life in Scripture, hope, endurance, obedience, and confident trust in Christ.
This site assumes faith in Jesus, reverence for God’s Word, and a shared starting point within the Christian story. The focus is not on proving Christianity, debating belief, or reacting to culture — but on forming steady disciples who know who they belong to and how to live faithfully today.
If you are not a Christian and have found your way here, you are welcome to read. But this site is not written as an introduction to Christianity. It speaks from faith, not toward it. If you are exploring what Christians believe and why, a better starting place is here: Start Here.
What Shapes This Site
Everything published here is shaped by a Christ-centered reading of Scripture that begins with creation, takes seriously the fracture introduced by sin, and rests confidently in God’s work of restoration through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ is confessed as reigning King now — not merely a future hope. Because of that, Christian living is framed as allegiance and faithfulness, not anxiety, survivalism, or constant reaction.
Scripture is read as a unified, Christ-centered story. You can read more about that approach here: How We Read Scripture.
Because the phrase “last days” is often misunderstood, we explain clearly what we mean by it — and what we intentionally reject. On this site, “the last days” refers to the biblical era inaugurated by Jesus Christ’s death, resurrection, and ascension. It is not a countdown driven by speculation, fear, or constant alertness. We address this directly here: Why We Speak of the Last Days.
What This Site Is and Is Not
LastDaysLiving is not focused on predicting timelines, decoding current events, or generating urgency through fear. It does not exist to promote speculation or to keep believers in a state of constant alert.
It exists to help believers understand who they are in Christ, think clearly in light of Scripture, and live faithfully in the time God has given them.
A Resource for Churches and Ministries
This site is designed to serve as a resource that churches, small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, and ministry leaders can use or recommend. The content here is organized around the questions real believers bring to the Christian life — about identity, endurance, discernment, watchfulness, witness, and discipleship.
Nothing here is meant to replace the church. It is meant to support it.
If you are a pastor, small group leader, or Sunday School teacher looking for formation-first content to recommend or use in ministry contexts, you are welcome here. The articles, the book, and any future resources produced here are intended as tools that serve what you are already doing — not as a competing platform.
About the Author
My name is Duane White. I am a layman — not a pastor, elder, or ministry professional — but a believer who has spent many years in serious study of Scripture. I have taught Sunday School and Bible studies within my local church, led small groups, taught discipleship to churches in Ecuador, and hold a full-time job outside ministry. I write in the margins of ordinary life, not from a professional platform.
That isn’t a limitation. It’s part of what shapes this site’s voice. The questions addressed here are the same ones I have lived with and worked through in the context of real church life, real community, and the ordinary pressures of a working week. The convictions expressed here are practiced within a local congregation, where faith is shaped, corrected, and encouraged in community alongside other believers who know my life, my weaknesses, and my faith.
This site began as an attempt to share more broadly what had proven useful in the teaching contexts I was already part of — Sunday School classes and Bible studies where people were asking genuine questions about how to live faithfully as Christians in a difficult world. It has grown into something I hope can serve as a resource for churches, small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, and ministry leaders who want formation-first content they can recommend to the people they serve or use in their own preparation.
My aim is not to tell readers what to fear or how close the end may be, but to point again and again to the steady confidence believers have in Christ’s reign and God’s faithfulness.
Ambassadors of Heaven, the book that forms the theological foundation of this site, is available as a resource for new believers and small groups. Learn more here.
